“No,” both Martha and Kyra said at the same time.
“Ok, I’ll be right back.”

Dakota asked her two best friends to assist her with picking the right wedding dress. She asked them to be a hundred percent honest and they were doing a great job at that.
At least fifteen dresses later, she found the one.
“What do you think about this one?” she shyly walked through the curtain that worked as a door for the dressing room.

Her friends got up of the their chairs and just stared at her, that’s how beautiful she looked.
“They’re perfect,” Martha whispered and covered her mouth with her hands.
“You look gorgeous, honey,” Kyra gasped and walked over to hug her.
Martha joined them, “you guys, you’re gonna make me cry.”
They stayed in a group hug for a long while.

“Is this really true? How did we grow up so fast?” Dakota said, holding in tears.
Kyra cleared her throat and broke the hug, “I’m not doing that, getting all sensitive and mushy. Go take the dress off and let’s have a drink.”
“Ok, I’ll go get changed,” Dakota walked away to the dressing room.
“She really does look amazing,” Martha said to Kyra.
“I know, she’ll be beautiful bride,” Kyra sighed, “I just wish she was marrying someone else.”
“Me too…”

They had a great dinner and around nine o’clock they got to a club where they drank, danced and had a great time.

“Don’t look, but the guy behind us has been staring at you all night.” Dakota said to Kyra.
“Really? Is he hot?”

“Oh yea,” Dakota winked.
“Do you think I should go talk to him?”
“Um, yea! How long has it been since you got laid, sister.”
It didn’t take long for for Kyra to get close to her new friend and couple drinks later they were eating each others faces.
“I don’t think I’m staying over at Kyra’s tongiht,” Dakota laughed when she noticed Kyra kissing the guy.

“You can stay at my house,” Martha offered.
“I’s ok, I’ll go home. Surprise Dylan.”
A little before midnight Dakota was unlocking the apartment door.
Dylan will be so happy I’m spending the night home after all.

The TV was on, but Dylan wasn’t in the living room.
Why would he leave the TV on if he went to bed, she wondered.
Dakota turned off the TV, not thinking much of it and opened the door to the bedroom.
She did not expect to find her fiance and a girl, she never saw before, naked and on top of each other.

“What the fuck, Dylan?!” Dakota said in a surprisingly calm voice.
Dylan and the girl, both in a panic mode, got out of the bed. The girl picked up her clothes from the floor and ran out.
“Babe, let me explain,” Dylan tried.
“What is there to explain, you pig? And you had the guts to accuse me of cheating? How long has this been going on, huh?”

“Not long, nothing’s going on, please….”
“I’m so fucking out of here. You have fun paying for everything without a job you fucking looser.”
Dakota got into her car and drove, leaving her life in Sierra behind…
