Becca relocated to the Sierra city for the following two months. Sierra was a beautiful city with a coastline as long as the city itself. There was summer 8 months of the year and very mild winters.
The movie production Becca was hired by made arrangements and rented a small apartment for her to stay at during her time in Sierra.
I better make some friends fast or I’ll go crazy alone in this tiny space, she tought the first time she entered the apartment and looked around. Luckily she never had a problem making new friends.
Filming started the next day after her arrival. Becca was exhausted from the flight and unpacking but she was extremely excited. She was about to see Samuel Duran again! He was the lead male actor in this movie and she totally had a crush on him. She only met him once, very shortly, when the production wanted to see them act together and make sure the chemistry between them is what they are looking for.
But she found out very soon she is not the only one who has a crush on him and that he actually sort of has a girlfriend.
“So how do you like Sierra so far?” this girl asked after the first day of filming when most of the team decided to go to the launge and have a drink to celebrate a successful day.
Especially Becca needed to let out some steam. She’s done one cereal comercial and some tiny roles like passing through a high school hallway in a teen movie but nothing this big. Never with big stars like Samuel. That was a lot of pressure.
“Well, to be honest I didn’t see much of it yet.” Becca admitted.
“Me and Sam can totally take you out sometime,” she offered and turned to Sam, “right, babe?”
“Yea, I don’t know, I don’t want to bother you guys and be the third wheel.” Becca said quickly, not waiting for him to answer.
“Oh, you won’t be,” the girl assured her, “Sam has a like a million hot friends. It will be a double date. I’ll text you the details, k?” And then she hugged her like if they were friends for years, grabbed Sam and walked away, not giving Becca any chance to decline her offer.
“Hi, you must be Becca Owen? ” the young man asked unsure and reached out his hand to shake Becca’s, “I’m Dale.”
“Hi Dale, where is everybody?” Becca looked around for Sam and Claire. She finally learned her name when she texted her couple days after their conversation inviting her to go out drinking with them.
“They’re waiting for us at the bar. Celebrities, you know,” he waved his arms in the air, “they don’t want to be seen or whatever.”
“So how do you know Sam?” she asked as they both started walking, Dale leading the way.
“We were friends since we were in kindergarten. Nobody knows him like I do, except for maybe his mom. Maybe,” he laughed.
Becca decided that for one night she won’t be the twenty year old mother of a four year old. She will just be a twenty year old girl, living her life to the fullest.
Everybody had more than a few drinks, there was loud talking, laughing, dancing and even singing karaoke.
“Thank you for walking me home,” Becca said as they were standing in the hallway at 3 o’clock in the morning.
“Oh, no problem, I was happy to.”
He looked her in the eyes and then on her lips and back in her eyes. She knew it was going to happen and she just let him. She returned his kisses and they became more and more intense. She hasn’t kissed anyone in at least five years and she missed it. Oh how much she missed the feeling. She missed the human touch.
“Do you want to come inside?”
