Chapter 1.02

 

Adam was able to save enough money to put a down payment on a small house just outside of the city and Adeline moved in with him right after he proposed to her.

Their wedding was small, they decided to have a private beach ceremony.

“Are you sure that’s what you want?” he kept asking. “I thought you would want a big wedding.”

And he was willing to give it to her. They didn’t have parents to pay for it but he would. Even if it meant he gets a second job, he’d do whatever it would take to make her happy.

“Not really, I just want to be with you and start a family. Family is not about fancy wedding, it’s about you and me and soon enough our children. That’s what matters to me, Silly.”

Silly was her nickname for him since they were teenagers. Adam didn’t even remember how it started but it sure stuck.

Time was flying and before they knew it, their first baby was on the way.

Barney was born seven months after their wedding. Turns out Adeline was already pregnant without even trying. Good timing I guess she thought when she found out.

Barney was a beautiful baby boy with his father’s dark hair and darker skin tone. He was a good baby, barely ever cried unless he was hungry or needed a diaper change.

About five months after she gave birth, Adeline didn’t feel like herself so she decided to make an appointment at the hospital to make sure everything is alright.

“Nothing to worry about Mrs. Owen” the nurse said “looks like you and your husband have been busy” she chuckled.

“What do you mean?”

“You are pregnant again!”

“Are you sure? I mean, I just had a baby..”

“And I can guarantee you that you are going to have two more in about six months. You’re basically entering second trimester. Congratulations.”

“Twins?” she almost whispered as she placed her hand on her belly. Her smile widened.

They didn’t plan it, sure. But they wanted to have more babies eventually.

A/N: As much as I love all characters from the beginning of my story, I recommend you start with generation four here since I didn’t have enough photos and experience with writing when I started this story. I plan on updating these chapters eventually 🙂
