Chapter 1.01, Generation 1

Chapter 1.01

Adam and Adeline were together since they can remember. Both of them lost their parents at a very young age and grew up in an orphanage. It was’t bad, they found good friends but most importantly – they found each other…

********************

The minute Adam turned 18 he left the orphanage and started working. He was very lucky because he got to do what he loved and what he knew the best – playing football. And he was doing very well for himself.

Adeline was one year younger so Adam had some time to save money for a house for him and his future wife. Since neither one of them had parents or siblings, their dream was to have a huge family and they wanted to start as soon as Adeline turns 18.

When the day came, Adam made a reservation in the famous rooftop restaurant in the city. He didn’t care how much money is it going to cost. This was a big night for her and not only for her. This was the beginning of their journey as independent adults. They weren’t just two kids form an orphanage anymore.

“So, how is the lobster sweetie?” Adam asked.

“It’s delicious, but” Adeline leaned closer so noone can her “can you really afford this?”

“Don’t worry about things like this today. It’s your birthday and I have one more surprise for you”

Adam slowly stood up and pulled Adeline up on her feet as well.

“Adeline, I can’t imagine my life without you. I’ve known you since I can remember and this past year when we didn’t live in the same building was the hardest so far. I love you and…I forgot the rest of the speech…you know I’m not much of a speaker, I’m better with a ball…so..”

“Yes!” Adeline laughed. She couldn’t watch him struggle anymore.

A/N: As much as I love all characters from the beginning of my story, I recommend you start with generation four here since I didn’t have enough photos and experience with writing when I started this story. I plan on updating these chapters eventually 🙂
